‘IMSEC Ghaziabad goes online full throttle during lock down’

During this tough time of lockdown due to the covid-19 pandemic, IMSEC continues with its mission of imparting quality education to its students through online mode. Faculty are taking live online classes of students, sharing notes and giving them assignments. This novel pedagogy is liked by students and they are taking a keen interest in these classes which is quite evident from their more than 85% attendance in live webinars and more than 95% assignment submissions.
The moment there was an announcement for the colleges to close down, IMSEC proactively decided to start the teaching-learning process through online mode so that students do not suffer and their syllabus is completed in time. Online teaching pedagogy was meticulously planned so that students are not bombarded with information, but real learning takes place.
All the subjects were divided into two groups: Group I and Group II. Group I consists of theoretical subjects whereas numerical based subjects and difficult ones form Group II. It was decided that the syllabus of Group II subjects will be completed through live classes and for Group I subjects, notes will be shared with students by the faculty and assignments will be given.
As a responsible educational institution, IMSEC continues to endeavor for the wellbeing of its students.
It wishes a safe and healthy life for all its stakeholders!

Industrial visit to CCIE NETWORKS NOIDA

Industrial visit to CCIE NETWORKS

On 1 Feb 2020 students of IMSEC, GZB had an industrial visit to CCIE NETWORKS, sec-2, Noida. Students had interaction with Atin Gupta about the Networking area. Various aspects of networks were discussed i. CCNA   ii. CCMP  iii. CCIE Security.  How does a networking line can provide a successful carrier. Networking experts are in demand in the market. CCNA and CCMP is a basic course. But CCIE security experts are limited in market. All over the world, there are only 63000 CCIE security experts. In many cases, the company does not have any person to take an interview in this area.

CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) is an information technology (IT) certification from Cisco SystemsCCNA certification is an associate-level Cisco Career certification.

CCMP is the standard encryption protocol for use with the Wi-Fi Protected Access II (WPA2) standard and is much more secure than the Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP) protocol and Temporal Key Integrity Protocol (TKIP) of Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA). CCMP provides the following security services:

  • Data confidentiality; ensures only authorized parties can access the information
  • Authentication; provides proof of the genuineness of the user
  • Access control in conjunction with layer management

Because CCMP is a block cipher mode using a 128-bit key, it is secure against attacks to the 264 steps of operation. Generic meet-in-the-middle attacks do exist and can be used to limit the theoretical strength of the key to 2n∕2 (where n is the number of bits in the key) operations needed.

The Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert, or CCIE, is a technical certification offered by Cisco Systems. The Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) certifications were established to assist the industry in distinguishing the top echelon of internetworking experts worldwide and to assess Expert-level infrastructure network design skills worldwide. These certifications are generally accepted worldwide as the most prestigious networking certifications in the industry. The CCIE and CCDE community has established a reputation for

leading the networking industry in deep technical networking knowledge and are deployed into the most technically challenging network assignments. The Expert-level certification program continually updates and revises its testing tools and methodologies to ensure and maintain program quality, relevance and value. Through a rigorous written exam and a performance-based lab exam, these expert-level certification programs set the standard for internetworking expertise.
