IMS Engineering College #Congratulates B.Tech student for getting placed in #ACADECRAFTINC.

The cultural Committee has organised creative events in IMSEC premises.

The Event on 13th February 2021 from 10:00 am onwards at B-Block.
The events were rangoli, poster and paper dress making competition. B.Tech students of 1st and 2nd year actively participated in all these events. Himanshi Singh and team were the winner of rangoli making competition. Vanshika and Neha won the paper dress making competition whereas Sakshi stood first in poster making. IMS Engineering College congratulates, Mr. Prashant Brahmbhatt, B.Tech. student of Information Technology branch Final year, Prashant participated in an International Conference on Artificial Intelligence And Speech Technology-2019 (AIST-2019) on November 14-15, 2019, The conference was organized at Indira Gandhi Technical University for Women, New Delhi where he presented his paper titled ” Skin Lesion Segmentation using SegNet with Binary Cross-Entropy”. The paper was authored by Mr. Prashant Brahmbhatt and Dr. S N Rajan, HoD, IT, IMS Engineering College, Ghaziabad.

Innovation Day-Garland ceremony held as a mark of honor for the legend- Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam

Today, 15^th October 2018, 87^th birth anniversary of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam is celebrated as Innovation Day in IMS Engineering College, Ghaziabad.  Garland ceremony was held as a mark of honor for the legend. The journey of his life was talked about by the faculties and students which inspired the audience immensely. His numerous contributions to the nation were applauded by one and all. Inspiring stories from his life were narrated by different people present in the ceremony. Poetry regarding his achievements and contribution in nation’s growth was recited.  A Technical Quiz called “The Wise Quacks” was conducted and prizes were distributed to the brilliant students. Inspiring quotes such as “Simple Living and High Thinking” & “To Shine Like a Sun, First Burn Like a Sun” that were hallmark of his great life were read to mark the end of the ceremony.

Alumni Talk Series – Organized by ECE Department , Mr. Ankit Rathore – HCL Technologies.

An “Alumni Interaction Program” is being organized by the ECE Department in C-Block Auditorium. Mr. Ankit Rathore, a 2014 batch passout student, currently working as Critical Resource in the field of VLSI Design & Embedded Systems, in HCL Technologies, Noida shared his experiences with the students. He advised them to choose their field of interest as soon as possible. He told them about the different fields in which students can make a good career such as VLSI Design, Verification, Device Driver Developers, Embedded System, PCB Designing, etc.  He also motivated them to utilize their time properly. His ideas were well received and appreciated by the students.
