‘साइंस विजार्ड’ फाइनल प्रतियोगिता.-दैनिक जागरण और आइएमएस इंजीनियरिग कॉलेज गाजियाबाद का संयुक्त प्रयास !

दैनिक जागरण और आइएमएस इंजीनियरिग कॉलेज गाजियाबाद की ओर से रविवार को ‘साइंस विजार्ड’ प्रतियोगिता का फाइनल राउंड संपन्न हो गया। ‘साइंस विजार्ड’ की फाइनल राउंड प्रतियोगिता के विजेताओं को मुख्य अतिथियों आईपीएस अधिकारी संदीप कुमार मीणा, हापुड़ पिलखुआ विकास प्राधिकरण की सचिव लक्ष्मी मिश्रा, आइएमएस सोसाइटी के चेयरमैन संजय अग्रवाल, डॉ केशव कुमार ने सम्मानित किया। विजेता को लैपटॉप और दो उपविजेताओं को एक-एक टैबलेट पुरस्कार स्वरूप दिया गया। साथ ही विभिन्न विद्यालयों के सर्वश्रेष्ठ योगदान देने वाले शिक्षकों को सर्वपल्ली राधाकृष्णन अवॉर्ड से भी नवाजा गया।

दैनिक जागरण और आइएमएस इंजीनियरिग कॉलेज के संयुक्त तत्वाधान में विभिन्न स्कूल में ‘साइंस विजार्ड’ प्रतियोगिता कराई गई थी। इसमें 12वीं कक्षा में अध्ययनरत हजारों छात्र-छात्राओं ने भाग लिया। पूर्व में हुई ‘साइंस विजार्ड’प्रतियोगिताओं का फाइनल राउंड रविवार को संपन्न हो गया। इसमें एनसीईआरटी, एसएटी, जेईई, यूपी बोर्ड और आईएमओ से संबंधित सवाल पूछे गए। प्रतियोगिता में विद्यार्थियों ने बड़ी संख्या में भाग लिया। कार्यक्रम में सबसे पहले मुख्य अतिथियों को शॉल ओढ़ाकर और बुके देकर सम्मानित किया गया। प्रतियोगिता में विजेता रहे मेरठ के यश सिघल को लैपटॉप और प्रशस्ति पत्र देकर सम्मानित किया गया। वहीं दूसरे और तीसरे स्थान पर रहीं केवी मुजफ्फनगर की शिखा गोगलिया और गाजियाबाद की वर्णिका भारद्वाज को एक-एक टेबलेट और प्रशस्ति पत्र देकर सम्मानित किया गया। इसके अलावा बरेली के पार्थ मेहरोत्रा, गाजियाबाद के अपूर्वा जैन, गाजियाबाद के दिशा तेवतिया और गाजियाबाद के उदित करन तोमर को सांत्वना पुरस्कार और प्रशस्ति पत्र देकर सम्मानित किया गया। वहीं विभिन्न विद्यालयों में सर्वश्रेष्ठ प्रदर्शन करने वाले शिक्षक चंदन सिंह, नीरा भार्गव, शशि सिंह और विनोद कुमार वर्मा को सर्वपल्ली राधाकृष्णन अवॉर्ड से नवाजा गया। वहीं एमएमएच कॉलेज गाजियाबाद के डॉ. केके सिंह और डॉ. शैलेंद्र गंगवार को शॉल ओढ़ाकर और बुके देकर सम्मानित किया गया।

इस अवसर पर मुख्य अतिथि आइपीएस अधिकारी संदीप कुमार मीणा ने कहा कि दैनिक जागरण और आइएमएस इंजीनियरिग कॉलेज की ओर से आयोजित की गई प्रतियोगिता से ग्रामीण और छोटे इलाकों के बच्चों को अपनी प्रतिभा दिखाने का अवसर मिला है। इससे गांव देहात से भी प्रतिभा निकलकर सामने आई है। विज्ञान के क्षेत्र में प्राचीन समय से भारत विश्वगुरु रहा है। उन्होंने कहा कि वह भी राजस्थान की एक बहुत छोटी जगह से हैं। तैयारी शुरू की तो चार बार अपने प्रयास में असफल रहे। पांचवीं बार में उन्हें सफलता मिली। संदीप कुमार मीणा ने कहा कि जीवन में सफल होना है तो साधनों के अभाव का रोना नहीं रोना चाहिए। अपनी प्रतिभा शक्ति को पहचानें और मेहनत में जुट जाएं। वहीं हापुड़-पिलखुआ विकास प्राधिकरण की सचिव लक्ष्मी मिश्रा ने कहा कि वह भी इस तरह की प्रतियोगिताओं में भाग लेती थी। इससे प्रतिभा प्रदर्शन का मौका मिलता है तो साथ ही आत्मविश्वास भी बढ़ता है। इस मौके पर दैनिक जागरण के मुख्य महाप्रबंधक नीतेंद्र श्रीवास्तव और वाइस प्रेसीडेंट अनुत्तम सेन सहित अन्य मौजूद रहे। संचालन मोनिका वर्मा ने किया।

परीक्षा से काफी कुछ सीखने को मिला है। साइंस विजार्ड में भाग लेकर काफी अच्छा लगा। घर पर फोन करके बताया तो सभी काफी खुश हैं। इससे काफी उत्साह वर्धन हुआ है।

अभिभावकों और शिक्षक ने परीक्षा के लिए काफी उत्साहवर्धन किया और कार्यक्रम में भी मेरे साथ आए। परीक्षा में भाग लेकर काफी अच्छा लगा। इससे आगे भी परीक्षाओं में भाग लेने के लिए हौसला बढ़ा है।

– ‘साइंस विजार्ड’प्रतियोगिता से काफी कुछ सीखने का मौका मिला है। आगे भी इस तरह की प्रतियोगिताओं में भाग लेने के लिए उत्साहव‌र्द्धन हुआ है। परीक्षा में अच्छे प्रश्न पूंछे गए थे।

साइंस के छात्रों के लिए प्रतिभा प्रदर्शन के लिए एक बेहतर मंच मिला। बहुत सी जगह ऐसी होती हैं जहां प्रतिभा छिपी रहती है उसे एक मौके की जरूरत होती है। प्रतियोगिता में साइंस के छात्रों का प्रयास सराहनीय है।

जहां छात्रों को मौके नहीं मिल पाता इस प्रतियोगिता से उन छात्र-छात्राओं को भी अपनी प्रतिभा दिखाने का अवसर पर मिला है। इससे बच्चों का आत्मविश्वास बढ़ता है।

On 1 Feb 2020 students of IMSEC, GZB had an industrial visit to CCIE NETWORKS, sec-2, Noida. Students had interaction with Atin Gupta about the Networking area. Various aspects of networks were discussed i. CCNA   ii. CCMP  iii. CCIE Security.  How does a networking line can provide a successful carrier. Networking experts are in demand in the market. CCNA and CCMP is a basic course. But CCIE security experts are limited in market. All over the world, there are only 63000 CCIE security experts. In many cases, the company does not have any person to take an interview in this area.

CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) is an information technology (IT) certification from Cisco Systems. CCNA certification is an associate-level Cisco Career certification.

CCMP is the standard encryption protocol for use with the Wi-Fi Protected Access II (WPA2) standard and is much more secure than the Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP) protocol and Temporal Key Integrity Protocol (TKIP) of Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA). CCMP provides the following security services:

• Data confidentiality; ensures only authorized parties can access the information
• Authentication; provides proof of the genuineness of the user
• Access control in conjunction with layer management

Because CCMP is a block cipher mode using a 128-bit key, it is secure against attacks to the 2⁶⁴ steps of operation. Generic meet-in-the-middle attacks do exist and can be used to limit the theoretical strength of the key to 2^n∕2 (where n is the number of bits in the key) operations needed.

Mr. Manoj Tamang (CCIE) covers the basics of networking including the concept of switches, routers, public and private IP addresses, subnet mask and VPN. He conducted hands-on practical sessions on IP addressing and subnet masking. Technical Session was concluded with the Question-Answer session. The students of Mechanical Final year visited Atomic Power Station Narora on 22nd October 2019.
Students came to know about the workings of a nuclear power plant along with it’s comparison to other methods of power generation by means of a presentation.
Students visited turbine section, control room, DM plant, cooling towers and various other sections. The students were able to connect their theoretical knowledge with the existing practice.

Ankuran, the cultural team of IMS Engineering College, Ghaziabad organized a dance event, ‘Bollywood Hash Mob’. Around fifty students from different departments participated in the event. The participants were divided into different groups. The event comprised two rounds. In Round-1, the participants in their groups performed on mash-up tracks and twelve participants were selected for the next round. In Round-2, the selected participants performed altogether. The participants were judged on the basis of their creativity, expressions, and response from the audience. Prashant Verma from CSE was the winner of the event. Riya Dubey from Biotechnology secured the second position. Ayush Srivastava from CSE and Himanshi Vij from MBA received the third prize. The cultural team congratulated all the winners and wished them good luck.
